What is Pegpay?
Pegpay helps you shop locally and buy at reduced prices everyday. We bring you offers from local sellers in real-time so you can “peg” the savings you need now, and pay less. When you Pegpay, you get the advantage of a “group buying” experience, but on important things you actually need and use everyday.
What is a peg?
It's your commitment to purchase before the offer expires, and our guarantee you'll pay less when you do. There are a limited number of offers available from any given merchant, so pegging an offer ensures that you're one of the exclusive few to get that deal. The best part is if you change your mind and decide you no longer want the deal for whatever reason, you're only out a peg, not the total purchase price.
How much does a peg cost?
99 cents. No minimum to buy. No strings attached.
Do I have to buy more than one peg at a time?
No.
I pegged an offer. How do I redeem it?
To redeem your offer, just click the gold “place order” button. Select your desired pick-up time, and you're done. Visit the seller’s place of business at the time you selected to pick up your goodies.
What is the pegboard?
Your Pegboard is a timeline that lists deals that your friends have pegged, so you can peg them too, if you wish. It also lists new offers from stores you follow.
What is a bundle?
A bundle is an offer for two or more items, as opposed to just one.
What is a token?
A token is just another name for store credit that is offered through Pegpay. It's similar to a gift certificate from that seller.
Can I send a token to a friend?
Of course. In your account page, just click the “give” button beside the token you want to send. Choose which friend you want to receive your token and click “ok”.
Is Pegpay safe?
Extremely. Your credit card number is transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault. At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers.

Mountain View, California. We also have a base in Los Angeles.
Why do you ask for my mobile phone number to register a new account?
We ask for a phone number as a quick means of confirming your identity when you use your token at the seller's place of business. Pegpay will never sell or share your personal information with anyone.
Do you sell my contact information to anyone?
Absolutely not. We sell pegs. That’s it, and that’s all.
